1. Open your bank app and log in securely. 2. Tap “Send Money,” “Transfer,” or “Make a Payment.” 3. If the person isn’t saved, tap “Add New Payee.” 4. Enter their full name, account number, and sort code carefully. They're name on their account may be different as it be may initials so make sure they exactly match. 5. Add a payment reference like “Rent” or “Lunch.” 6. Enter the amount you want to send (Double check this is the correct amount you want to send). 7. Review all account details to make sure everything is correct. 8. Tap “Confirm” or “Send” to complete the payment. 9. You may be asked to verify the payment via text or app. 10. Done! You’ll usually get a confirmation and you should see the money has gone out of your account with a payment reference if you look at your statement or homepage.
