Step-by-step:

1. Open your email app on your phone or visit your email provider’s website on your computer. This is where all your messages are stored. 2. Look for the “Compose” or “New Email” button, usually marked with a pencil or plus sign. Click it to start writing a new message. 3. In the “To” field, type in the email address of the person you want to contact. Add a short subject line like “Hello” or “Quick Question” to summarise your message. 4. Write your message in the large text box. Keep it clear and friendly. When you’re ready, click “Send” to deliver your email. 5. To check if you’ve received new messages, open your inbox. Unread emails will usually appear in bold. Click one to read it. 6. To reply to a message, click the “Reply” button, write your response, and click “Send.” You can also forward a message if you want to share it with someone else. 7. Keep your inbox organised by moving emails into folders or labels. For example, you might create folders for “Family,” “Bills,” or “Travel Plans.” 8. Watch out for suspicious emails from unknown senders or with strange subject lines. If something looks wrong, delete it immediately and never click on links or attachments.
